The mid-sized SUV can accommodate five adults comfortably with generous space in the front and rear seats. Despite its rugged appearance, the 2008 Endeavor has the characteristics more of a car than a truck. It is available in only two distinct trim levels- LS and Limited. Each of the trims is available with front-wheel drive or all-wheel drive. The Endeavor handles and feels like a sports sedan that has got a uni body construction, that gives it a smooth driving performance of a car along with a spacious, sufficient cargo space and a commanding view of the road. With its independent suspension for each wheel, it keeps all four tires firmly planted on the ground.
Mitsubishi Endeavor Interior
Like other Asian vehicles, the interior of the Endeavor is basically inspired by home-audio equipment and sci-fi imagery, with lots of sculpted forms, shiny surfaces, and ice blue LED instrument lighting. Safety features are in abundance in all the current models of the Endeavor. The safety features include dual-stage frontal airbags and front seat-mounted side-impact airbags, side-curtain airbags, rollover protection, anti-lock brakes with electronic brake-force distribution, traction control, and a tire-pressure monitor. Other interior enhancements for Endeavor include a black center dash panel, updated door trim, and accent stitching added to the leather shift knob & steering wheel.
Mitsubishi Endeavor Exterior
All the models of the 2008 Endeavor are powered by a 3.8-liter SOHC V-6--a refined, bulked-up version of Mitsubishi's proven 3.5-liter V-6--rated at 215 horsepower and 250 pound-feet of torque, mated to a four-speed automatic transmission with Sportronic manual shifting capability. Rear glass no longer opens independently of rear hatch and for the exterior there are three new colors: Rave Red, Quick Silver, and Canyon Beige along with new exhaust finisher.
